Installation of x265

Install x265 by running the following commands:

mkdir bld &&
cd    bld &&

cmake -DCMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX=/usr \
      -DENABLE_STATIC=OFF         \
      ../source                   &&

make

This package does not come with a test suite.

Now, as the root user:

make install &&
rm /usr/lib/libx265.a 

Command Explanations

rm /usr/lib/libx265.a: BLFS does not recommend using static libraries.
